oh yeah!
I managed to somehow rock straight A's again this semester!
I took some research books back to the library and came home with some new books to read for fun. My idea of fun reading includes:
"Fashion in the French Revolution" by Aileen Ribeiro
"My Likeness Taken" by Joan Severa (a really cool book full of daguerrotypes)
"Twentieth Century American Fashion" edited by Linda Welters and Patricia Cunningham
I also checked out a Doctoral Dissertation about women's fashion and material culture. I kinda want to see how the big kids roll with the academic research. Also, the topic looks really interesting to me.
I started tearing down the rotted balcony railing today. The wood is so soft I can just pull some of the screws out with my fingers.
