The Dark Knight...Returns
Being a diehard Bat-fan, I have to report this to...myself.
Heath Ledger is going to play the Joker in The Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins, which is due out in 2008.
This is good news and all, but I still can't quite see it; then again, I have only seen three or four Heath Ledger movies and in them, he was either a gay (er, bisexual) cowboy, some fighter in the revolutionary war, or a knight that fought to Queen music in the background. Not to say he can't do it, but I don't even know if he looks the part.
Then again, neither did Cesar Romero - or Jack Nicholson for that matter. Or Mark Hamill - but at least he had the perfect voice.
Ah well, I've faith this is good news. So who's being cast as my namesake in the sequel?
