What are we?

Yet another one for you to guess:

When I went to Royce's school to pay his school fees, Lena Mathtoyz and I saw these crafts on the display board. Initially we had no idea what it was, but realised subsequently that these are supposed to be Peacocks!

There weren't any names next to the crafts then, so Lena and I just looked at each one and tried to guess which work of wonders belong to our boys. We had some fun looking and commenting. Then, one caught my attention, and I told Lena, "Look! this little boy/girl has a different perspective from the rest. See how he/she pasted the feathers."

Two days later, I received a SMS from Lena: "The peacock that was different from the others was your son's!" When I saw the SMS, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. That evening, I decided to ask Royce about it.

Me: Royce, did you do a peacock craft in school?
Royce: Yes?
Me: Did you stick some feathers?
Royce: Yes...I stick all around becos Ms Sok Meng said to stick all around.
Me: Oh...how about your friends? Did they stick the feathers all around?
Royce: Yes, but they all do wrongly.
Me: Are you sure they did wrongly and not you?
Royce: Yes...becos Ms Sok Meng said "ALL AROUND!"

I can't fault him can I? He did really pasted the feathers all around. A clear and obvious example of communication gone wrong!!!

I'll leave you with these peacocks:

Quite a nicely done peacock by one of his classmate.

Ethan's peacock.
