Mao to a new crowd

Well I'm back in Ames. I'll be here for quite a while.

I had a great time both going to Chicago and seeing little Carrie Weis. The only down side was I went to a really crappy party the night i got there. I mean, it was an okay party for the younger group that was there, but I'm 24 and I hang out with some heavy drinkers during the year. You really need to know how to drink if you want to keep up with me and most drinking games won't do it.

After Chicago I headed to Madison to visit Mike. I wanted to go visit Misty as well, but I had too much fun hanging out with Mike (and just relaxing the night he was gone) to give her a call. Alas, I will have to do it next time I am in town.

Really the only bad thing about my trip was that I didn't get to see Kirsten like I had hoped. Ah well, there will be plenty of time for that in the future, too.

In other news there was a going away party tonight for Martin (one of the Math Grad students). I had a good time there and when the party died down some I took the time to introduce 'Mao' to the group. Mao is a really fun card game that I learned over the summer. It is a great game and I would suggest learning it from me when you have a chance. You do need at least 4 people to play, at least in my opinion.

Alright, I'm off to get some rest.
