ANYWAY
Dave and Fiona are breaking up - I got a separate email from each of them informing me. Dave's was v positive, said he was soul searching and was home for two weeks with his parents and that they were thinking about their relationship. Fiona's said "I have really like Dave's friends" and was v final. Argh, made my stomach sink when I read each individual email - am shocked because about two days ago I, the Lady of the Tea made the prediction that Dave and Fiona would be getting married in a couple of years after a long engagement because they were MADE for each other. I am starting to wonder if I managed to ill wish them somehow by accident. But that is silly, is it not?
I am desperately peeved because Diana Wynne Jones' new book is coming out from PENGUIN and not from Harper, they have let me DOWN.
Have enjoyed work tremendously over the last week, having zero bosses around is empowering and relaxing all at once. I want some freelance proofing work so damn badly. Why are there not hordes of people allowing me to spellcheck etc their writing and pay me for the privilege? Why gentle world o why?
Anyway I have to go back to new years res#29955 and write some more creatively in my gigantic word doc before packing my gym bag to fulfill res#090496
