I recently read Thomas Wentworth Higginson's Army Life in a Black Regiment in the Civil War, and realized that he was a contributor to the Riverside Literature Series. So this week I read RLS #141,  Three Outdoor Papers, his only full-number part of the series. The original publication was 1889.
