What in the name of Merlin's knickers is merlinsknickers all about? Well, it doesn't actually have much to do with Merlin's knickers.
Unless you're into that sort of thing.
The year is 1976. The Marauders are entering their sixth year at Hogwarts. If the teachers thought pranking was out of control last year, they haven’t seen nothing yet.
Everything seems peaceful on the surface - at least, as peaceful as it can be when Dungbombs aren’t being set off inside Snape’s trousers. But the Wizarding World is dealing with something much worse than harmless pranks. Rumours spread like wildfire about a wizard with more power than anyone has ever known. Day after day more articles come out in the Daily Prophet describing strange attacks, curious deaths and mysterious disappearances. Are the rumours true? Is a wizard named Lord Voldemort really behind it all?
Even while things stir outside the castle walls, most of the student population of Hogwarts is concerned with much more trifling matters, like who fancies who, which House will win the Quidditch Cup, and when the next orgy party is.
Come for the game, stay for the knickers.
And for the record? Merlin never wore baggy y-fronts.
