Holy smoke! That was one intense and tension filled episode. Well, another one.... This drama has been full of them. Watching the episodes without subs first sure makes you focus on how everything is put together and concentrate on the details. What the fuuuu...! The Equator Man got a 4 ep extension. We are not amused.... Extensions never bode good for a drama but as TEM is only half way thorough they still have time to fiddle with the script I suppose. I always ment to watch Keizoku 2 - SPEC but somehow never got round to it while it was airing. Then darkeyedwolf's post about the SP along with the hq version of the series appearing for dl around the same time reminded me finally to find time to watch it. I just finished Fermentation Family and thus have a huge grin on my face. It's one of those dramas you either get or you don't. There does not seem to be a middle ground. Dear dangermousie thought it was the most boring thing ever and I can understand why. :) The pace is slow and lingering and in the beginning it feels like nothing much is happening. I just watched ep 4 of The Equator Man again and I do have to say that it is definitely the best of the Wed-Thur dramas. Not that it's flawless. The score in the 1s ep was seriously grating (thankfully it got better) and sometimes it goes a bit overly dramatic to my taste. dangermousie's post about the last 2 episodes of SUFBB made me miss the kids like crazy again. Crazy Byung Hee, awesome leader Ji Hyuk, Hyun Soo, Do Il, Kyung Jong and Ha Jin... the ladies Su Ah, Woo Kyung and Yerim. I'm missing the rest of the cast too, even psyco Pyo Joo... LOL! \o/ Got my happy, scruffy puppies back! Plus movement on the OTP fronts. Yup, I'm happy how this wrapped up. They didn't cut corners and still managed to give us a satisfying ending that's not actually The End but rather The Beginning. For just about everyone ( Read more... )
