Not all newcomers by any means, Marshall. You and your partner are most welcome here. I hope you catch your man and I've advised all my lawmen to assist you however they can. But we've had in influx of strange sorts and some bad rumors going around.

[That gets a genuine laugh out of him.] Considering about half your force is my kin, I'd be disappointed if they didn't.

How serious are these rumors? I'm afraid my partner and I didn't seen any evidence of any outlaw gangs roaming nearby, but we'd heard talk long before we got into town.
