Typical Gwen. takes over Jack's office the moment he's gone and while Ianto's sruggling to cope with his lover gone, she tries to take away the only thing he has left to give meaning to his life, his job, his only reason to even get up in the morning.

Best reason there is for Gwen being the 'leader' while Jack was gone - everyone else was busy with their own jobs, she doesn't have any specific tasks so let her deal with running the place. It's not like she actually has to do anything since the rest of the team know how to do their jobs, but she can answer the phone.

Thank goodness Ianto has Tosh, she knows the right things to say and is there to offer support and a hug when Ianto needs it.

Tosh and Ianto are good friends. They stick together and are there for each other.
