Summary: Reno is an idiot overzealous, and Rude is a mother hen concerned.

Date: Late December, 1803
Warnings: Bit of violence, bit of otherwise.
It had been rather quiet all day, most of the people staying at the inn having left to start picking things up. It was safe outside again, the few stragglers from the horde easily picked off. The damage he and Reno had done had been... well, large, but as it had been in self-defense and the destroyed buildings had been abandoned, it hadn't been as big of an issue as it could have been. Reno, of course, had been hurt in the first explosion (just after that thing they weren't supposed to think about had happened). Rude had bailed him out, though, and even after his partner had tried to pull that stunt with the stick of dynamite...
Well, they were both alive.
It was probably past time to check on the redhead. Reno was supposed to be staying in bed, which was unlikely, but at the very least he was supposed to be taking it easy. Exiting his room and heading down the hall toward Reno's, Rude knocked on the door twice before letting himself in. Reno shouldn't get up and get the door, after all... or use the time between his knock and being let in to hide anything he wasn't supposed to be doing.
