Ursula stared out the window, looking at the snow-capped mountains surrounding the town but not quite seeing them. Ever since Ceodore's parents' ill-timed visit, the princess had been unusually quiet. She trained as vigorously as ever and didn't neglect her local duties in the slightest, but something had changed. Opening the floodgates on so many issues may have been necessary, but it was certainly no kindness.
It was getting late. Ursula knew she ought to turn in, since she'd have to rise early as always. However, the princess couldn't quite bring herself to do it. She stared at the Sky Phone, wondering who she could call...but no one came to mind. Porom wouldn't understand and Ursula didn't want to put her in such a position, anyway. And any parental-type support would not be hers, not in this matter. Lowering her phone, she tossed it aside for now.
