Their surroundings shifted yet again, to a setting that at least ought to be somewhat familiar to all; below was the mining town of Narshe. They were standing on a snowy mountain path and it was obvious that a battle had just taken place, as the bodies of imperial soldiers lay scattered on the ground. Ahead of them were the Returners, downing potions and otherwise tending to post-battle needs.
Terra glanced around apprehensively. This time she didn't have to guess whose memory this was, or what was to come next. She knew quite well, and given her expression, she was fighting not to head back in the direction from which they had come. At least it wasn't as a horrific a memory, in some aspects, as what came before for her. Still, she had no desire to relive it.
But was there even a choice? If this was the only way to leave....
Sighing, the green-haired woman stepped forward.
