Sometime in the middle of the night, Rydia roused from sleep and couldn't return to it, despite her best efforts. She wasn't certain why; Raine was out of danger, Rydia had been helping around so much that by all rights she should be exhausted enough to sleep, and there was no other big crisis at the moment. Perhaps she was too used to a certain ninja as her pillow, but the summoner wasn't willing to admit that at the moment.
Instead, Rydia stretched and rose from the bed, slipping on a robe and tying it around her waist clumsily. She did her best to keep her tread quiet as she headed to the kitchen, not wanting to wake anyone else. Perhaps a cup of warm tea and a good book would be soothing enough to send her back to sleep.
