After leaving Fran to pilot alone, and ensuring Ramza wasn't anywhere he honestly should not be, Balthier made his way quietly to his father's room. He had seen the verbal war between him and Agrias, and despite how his friend had defended him, he felt the need to check on his father. Cid had done many things wrong in his past, but so had he, so had everyone, therefore he tried to hold as little animosity towards his father as possible.
Knocking politely at the door, Balthier neatened his white shirt before entering the room, with or without invitation, locking the door behind him. It was his ship, he could be in any room, or so he was going to say if Cidolfus protested.
"Ci--... Father, may we speak?"
