Before he had left to join SOLDIER, Zack's mother had made sure her son wasn't going to be like most men and be hopeless in the kitchen. If you want to make your girlfriend happy, cook for them once in while. While nowhere near as good as his mom, Zack was rather handy when it came to cooking, especially when it came to baking.

Once Zack came into the kitchen, he leaned down to give Marlene a quick hug. "Hey there, kiddo. We got everything so we can start?"

Marlene gave her Uncle a tight hug, then nodded her head. "Yep! Everything's out. I double-checked everything on the list you gave me!"

They had decided on a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting - the best of both worlds. "So, what first?"
