Marlene had made sure Tifa was out of the house before taking out all the things that she'd need to bake the cake. Uncle Zack had made her a specific list that she'd need later on after she had talked to him. It had taken the little girl some time to get everything out of the cabinets - a lot of things required Marlene dragging over a chair to climb up onto the counter to get it - but after a good 15 minutes Marlene had everything placed and ready to go.
Now all she needed was her Uncle. He said he'd be here by now!
