Having taken the warning about the weather from Gabranth to heart, Quistis had prepared for the trip by stocking up on some warmer clothing before their departure from Jidoor. Despite her typical civilian attire and the several layers of heavy fabric she had added on combined with the heavy wool cloak she was now bundled in, the freezing temperature still seeped past her skin and sunk deep into her bones. How could anyone stand to be in such a climate?
The thought automatically caused Quistis to shift her eyes over to her companion; it looked as though the brunette was having no trouble adjusting to the wintry terrain.
"Really, Selphie, I have no idea how you stand this kind of weather." Quistis managed to hiss through clenched teeth as they both made their way into town.
