Powers
Time manipulation. He can do so around himself and others, as well as affecting the environment. He uses his watches as a gauge of how fast or slow he is going. These powers include:
- speeding time up, allowing him to disappear and reappear to the naked human eye, or affecting organic matter, reducing plants and human beings alike to dust in a matter of minutes.
- slowing time down to a crawl, seemingly freezing the environment around him.
-Turning back time to reverse certain events, such as returning the bullets to a gun they have been shot from.
As a side affect of his powers, Mark simultaneously sees the past, present, and future, in a fragmented state. He refers to what he sees as his ‘Things’, with a capital T. Also, due to a high imbalance of endorphins in his brain, he never sleeps.
Weaknesses
-Turning back time, even for a few minutes, is extremely draining. The most he’s ever been able to do is one day. Prolonged usage causes eye bleeding, much as psychics get nosebleeds.
-He can only affect a person directly by touching them, for his powers are too broadly used otherwise.
-He can't control his visions.
-Insanity limits his judgment severely.

Mark was born and raised in California. Always a quiet child, his mutant powers manifested when he was only five, after being mercilessly teased by an older group of boys. He froze time for what seemed like hours to him, though it was only a few seconds, and when he eventually restored it, found he was seeing no longer just the present, but the future and past as well. These claims led his parents to seek psychiatric care, and when that failed, they did what they thought was best, and committed him to the state mental hospital when he was seven. This event, and the torturous ‘therapy’ he went through served only to break his frail grasp on reality. He resided there until he was twenty.
The military found him after an incident brought him to their attention. Realizing his potential, despite his fractured mind, they sent him to one of their labs to train. Through the kindness of one of the doctors there, he regained a loose grasp on reality and control over his wild gifts.
