Way back when, I wanted to
build a spice cabinet and was very hyped up about it.
However, it just kept getting complicated, so I put the plans aside.
Then recently, on Etsy, I found something that works just fine and at a great price. A 1965 Three Mountaineers spice cabinet, roughly 20 inches square. I bought it, put it up, filled it up, and still had spices to spare! (The extra spices are going to the local soup kitchen.)
I had also found a cabinet at Habitat for Humanity Restore. It holds some old glassware and part of my cookie mold collection.
Still so many things to do.... the big wall above the pantry will eventually be painted a dark barn red (you can kinda see the color behind the oven) and I want to do something to the side of the pantry - contact paper, paint, something. And one day I'll have a real floor. But for now.... spices!
And you know, I haven't cooked a darn thing since I put the cabinet up....
