Downtown San Angeles (sigh), June 30 2010, Wednesday Night

As assignments went, Jen had had more eventful ones. She'd also had less weird ones than hanging out, keeping an eye on an alley full of gourmet food trucks, but you know . . . as long as she got to keep wandering around, ordering a cupcake here and a grilled cheese sandwich there, or maybe some of those arancini, and that barbecue truck serving pulled pork and collard greens? It wasn't the most uncomfortable stakeout she'd ever been on.

. . . if she could stay awake for the next three hours of this street food festival.

What kind of crazy con artist thought traveling to the past to take over a bunch of food trucks would be a lucrative crime, anyway? Whoever it was, she'd have to thank them.

After she hit the gym for hours when she got back to Newtech City.

[OOC: . . . this is what I come up with when I'm waiting for my food at the truck lot.]
