Strengths 2.0

Oct 06, 2010 16:03

Back in October 2004, I took the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment and was told my top 5 strengths/themes were:
  • Input
  • Ideation
  • Responsibility
  • Arranger
  • Adaptability
you can see the descriptions of these old themes here: timbond.livejournal.com/9262.html#cutid1

Here in our office, we were asked to take the assessment again and here are the 5 top themes I got this time:
  • Input (same top one)
  • Responsibility (moved up one)
  • Communication (new)
  • Ideation (moved down two)
  • Activator (new)
Looking at the descriptions below, how well do you think these themes describe me?

Input
People who are especially talented in the Input theme have a craving to know more. Often they like to collect and archive all kinds of information.

Responsibility
People who are especially talented in the Responsibility theme take psychological ownership of what they say they will do. They are committed to stable values such as honesty and loyalty.

Communication
People who are especially talented in the Communication theme generally find it easy to put their thoughts into words. They are good conversationalists and presenters.

Ideation
People who are especially talented in the Ideation theme are fascinated by ideas. They are able to find connections between seemingly disparate phenomena.

Activator
People who are especially talented in the Activator theme can make things happen by turning thoughts into action. They are often impatient.
