Hi, not neccessarily new here but I don't normally post my writings, I just like reading others, so I decided to post one of my stories and see how people feel. I warn you it's a Horatio Caine/Ryan Wolfe fic
It was a small minor detail that found Ryan standing out here, alone in the rain. Pain. Pain was what had ruled his life for many years. Pain is what made him thrive. Pain is what reminded him that he was still alive. It was also what reminded him not to screw up. And yet despite that constant reminder, the scars of his past, he had messed up. Right in front of the man he admired, the man, dare he say he was attracted to. He doubted Horatio knew it or even noticed but Ryan had expected something, a lashing out for the way he screwed up. But all Horatio had done was pat him on the back. Ryan had seen the hand go up and flinched, expecting to go home with a bloody cheek, but Horatio had simply told him, "We learn from our mistakes."
It rattled Ryan. No one had ever shown him anything other than hate, tolerance, and loathing. It was something new, something for him to contemplate on. Ryan wasn't a big fan of change. His OCD made sure of that. And so the nightly ritual continued. Whenever it rained Ryan would find the time to go out and soak his sorrows. It always made him feel as if he was washing away his sins. The rain washed over him, soaking his clothes and skin. His brown hair plastered to his forehead. A hand on the back of his shoulder startled him. Ryan jumped and turned around to see Horatio standing behind him.
"Horatio? What are you doing here?" Here being the rooftop of the Miami Dade Crime Lab. Horatio smiled at him softly, his hair becoming a dark copper red from the rain. Ryan looked at Horatio's now wet clothes. They stuck to him like a second skin leaving nothing to the imagination. A light blush spread across Ryan's damp cheeks. "Are you all right Ryan? I noticed you flinch when I touched you and now your standing in the rain." Horatio asked him calmly. Ryan opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came up. Ryan looked down at the ground. "I-I've never been...how to say this. I've never been...touched."
Horatio raised an eyebrow at him, his smile turning to a sad one. Horatio lifted his hand up, level to Ryan's cheek. Ryan flinched, it wasn't noticeable to the untrained eye, but Horatio was anything but untrained. Horatio hid the hurt he felt and slowly placed it onto Ryan's cheek, gently stroking with his thumb. "So you've never been given a pat on the back? A friendly hug? A soothing back rub? A kiss?" Ryan shook his head as Horatio moved his face closer to Ryan, his lips just centimeters away. "Let me fix that." His lips crossed the distance to Ryan's, his tongue gently probing for entrance. Ryan shyly opened his lips, feeling Horatio's tongue rub against his own. They stood there in the rain, kissing each other slowly and passionately. And then Horatio pulled away, looking into Ryan's glazed eyes. "What do you say we get out of this rain?" Ryan nodded and followed Horatio back into the building.
