Did You Know ... that the Spanish-American War Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery actually consists of two memorials -- four captured Spanish guns (taken from the Spanish Navy armored cruisers Vizcaya and Infanta Maria Teresa and from a coastal battery near Castillo de San Pedro de la Roca near Santiago de Cuba) emplaced in 1900 and a granite column topped by a granite sphere and bronze eagle erected by the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in 1902?
