I fear Mormons are taking over the world.
Well, the first day of the workout plan went just as planned. I did 35 min. on the treadmill. *sigh* Although, there was much more walking than running since I'm so out of shape. And then I went to Anthropology for the first time in the last three weeks. We were trying to discuss ancestor worship as perhaps a universal human religious perspective and I actually found it very interesting, or I would have if it weren't for the born again fuckwits running rampant. I just wanted to scream "This is SCIENCE you fucking morons! That's why we use the word "story" when talking about your religion! What the hell are you doing here if you can't grasp this concept!" And the professor completely catered to their ignorance in the name of keeping things p.c. I really try not to have a problem with people who are religious, but people make it really hard when they say people like me are ignorant (and imply that we're going to hell) because we call the "story" of all us being descended from Adam and Eve an example of ancestor worship. I mean- HELLO? can anyone say Memorial Day?! I think faith can be a beautiful thing, but all I saw today was willful ignorance, intolerance, and thinly veiled hostility and it just makes me sick. If you chose to be a brain-washed monkey, then we should use you to the best possible purpose: testing shuttle launches!
I am so thankful for my intelligent, open minded friends. Me and Allison talked about it and religion and such- one of those stimulating discussions that I thought I'd get in college, but have never found outside of my small circle of friends.
