The snow that did last - Part 2

These are maybe half of the "best of" yesterdays photos because I’m afraid I took too many to post in one entry (when I even manage to go through them all) - and I took even more today.

This is was the view from my window in the early afternoon of 26 February:

The people from the next building had cleaned their stairs, but the snow was still going on:

Yucca plants in the snow - these are surprisingly tough survivors.



This is a small former grocery shop that has changed hands several times, but whatever they try to sell inside now, it never seems a successful business. Some of you may have noticed how much I like to photograph it. :P

Fallen plane-tree leaves in the snow are always irresistible to me:



The wind had got very strong at that point, so it kept moving this leaf, but, incredibly, I captured it in two different positions;
