The interview at the employment agency.

Jun 15, 2010 16:59

It was... just a formality, I guess. A waste of time. The agency owner (male this time, for a change) obviously couldn't wait to get rid of me, although he was polite enough.

I have a problem that I somehow didn't think of in advance, and the interviewer caught me unprepared: I don't know what passes for a reasonably good payment for a secretary-and-translator job because companies here keep their salaries secret as a rule, and don't I have any connections that could help me reveal that mystery.

In the end he told me that the agency would call me if the employer improved my online application (CV and photo). I asked if he wanted anything else from me, and he said no. So he didn't even ask for my paper photo. Am I not beautiful enough? LOL

I won't be surprised at all if they never call me.
