It was over before it began.
On the surface they are friends. Underneath, there's this. They fuck. Screw. Bang. Dirty words for dirty deeds.
Jay sits in his bed and realises that they have never once kissed.
Charles sits in his and knows that they're never going to kiss.
Because kisses mean something. This means nothing.
They meet that night. They whisper filthy things in each other's ears. They scratch and bite and moan and thrust. Jay's hands clench in Charles's sheets, Charles arches his back, their noises of release intermingle - and, once again, the curtain falls.
No kisses. Nothing.
