David probably knew him, actually. I think Greg was on staff while David was an undergrad. You might want to point him in the direction of this post.

I think this thing has taken on a life of its own. If you have Bards and Filkers who read your journal, then I think it makes sense for you to post, but I'm not the one who originated this effort, so you might want to trace it to the source to be sure it's cool.

I have an extended network of A Phi O brothers, some of whom are no longer active with the fraternity and who would not have heard about Greg through other channels, so that's why I posted it.

Ah, I see they have posted some code at the bottom of the page for just such a thing, I will post that instead, and save your LJ the traffic, (All those muddy boots, really!) :)
