Helping filkergem's family
Donations are being collected for filkergem's family, since their home was destroyed in the fire that killed him, including most of the family's possessions:
Aside from being a well-known filker and S/F fan, Greg was also a brother of Alpha Phi Omega, the Co-ed National Service Fraternity. He was an alumnus of Alpha Chi Chapter (MIT). In the late 1980's, he and I served together on A Phi O staff in New England for a few years. He was always the first to help if anyone asked, and the last to seek any recognition for his generosity.
Now the ones he left behind need our help.
