That was a lot longer that I'd realized...

A while back (okay, now I realize over a year), LJ logged out on my phone and I couldn't remember my password at the moment and told myself I'd get back to it. I'd then occasionally try to go to LJ from the phone and of course run into the same issue and have the same bloody conversation with myself to the same outcome. I finally remembered all of this at a time that was convenient to get to the home computer and lo and behold... I haven't logged in since February of 2019.

I'm still here using this as a diary of sorts, ironically a few of the other folks who'd been here and left that I'm still in touch with have been talking about how there is no platform anywhere to do what this did... and there's a part of me that wants to tell them to just come back, but I don't know enough about what's going on here to recommend it.

Life is still lifeing. We're doing the Corona Quarantine thing, and fortunately we're dealing okay. Because of the learning issues that each of the three younger kids bring to the table, they're actually getting more consistent schooling and corroboration of their completion and understanding this way that when it's left to teachers. Sad but true. School where we are works for neurotypical kids with decent focus... I have one kid that's got good focus and good classroom habits. The other three vary from Hyperactivity to needing a lot of prompting to non compliant. We have IEPs, but like so many have realized, the IEP is only as good as the teacher following it... this year we had a teacher not bother to read it or follow the recommendations given to her by me or the School Psychologist and like so many others, I realized that this thing doesn't have any real teeth. So Homeschooling is going well for us, though it doesn't leave a person with ADD like myself enough time to really pull off the stuff I regularly do because of my own difficulty with focus and following through.

I've been sewing masks to go outside with and the occasional dolly outfit and am back to working out ever since I got an Elliptical as a Birthday/Christmas/Valentine's/Mother's Day gift - and am very happy with it. I'll write more soon as I've had some significant health stuff going on this year and have missed talking about things. I've also got to start making note of the various milestones of the girls that I only really have noted here. I'm probably never going to do proper Baby Books for them (I'm firmly owning my limitations at this stage in my life), but I'd like to have "something" for them that they can be amused by about their early lives.

If any of you are still out there, I hope you are holding up well.
