Clean Uberhood: The Patel Family
After playing Jessica Peterson and her kids, it was surprisingly enjoyable to play a 'normal' sim family. Usually I would have called the family boring, but after the craziness with Jessica, I really liked the domesticity of the Patels.
But no matter how normal and happy the Patel's seem on the surface, Ramir has a secret: I once caught him cheating Ana with Christy Stratton as a non-playable.
Did Ramir want a souvenir of the event or did he want to give the impression that he used the photo booth just for taking a pic? Either way, he went right back in after the woohoo and took a photo of himself?
The picture is hanging in the Patels' master bedroom now. I imagine Ramir gave it to Ana as a romantic gift (and as a secret apology).
Isn't it cool that the pictures sims take autonomously in the booth, really stay in their inventories!
In the previous picture Ana was dancing with their elder son, Omar. And this is their baby boy, Raza playing with his rabbit and with Pauline Aspir. The kids must have sensed some tension between their parents, since both boys had a fear of them divorcing, when I first entered the lot.
But Ramir and Ana are so much in love. Neither of them cheated during this session, although I gave them some opportunities for it.
Little Raza grew up. The boys are a nice mix of their parents' genetics: Raza (in the foreground) has his father's eyes and mother's mouth while with Omar it's the opposite: Ana's eyes and Ramir's mouth. They are very cute.
A snow day!
Raza, the cutie, is really mean and made an evil snowman with his brother.
Omar is the good boy and made another - a nice - snowman.
He's also an artist who spends his evenings painting.
Ana comes home from work quite late - don't remember her job title - and Ramir greets her with a passionate kiss.
Ana had to work on Saturday, too, so Ramir took the boys out for hamburgers and shopping.
While Ramir bought some new spring clothes for the family, the boys played with Etsu Cho.
After shopping it was time for a spin in the skating rink.
Ouch!
A grown man needs more than just a hamburger to fill his stomach, and Ramir went to order a snack while the boys were skating. Christy Stratton interrupted him: "Psst, there's a photo booth downstairs, nudge, nudge, wink, wink..." But Ramir would have nothing to do with her anymore. He had his snack, although Christy's face came up constantly in his action queue.

Ana and Ramir autonomously tried for a baby every single day (sometimes even twice a day) during the seven days I played them. I sighed of relief after every try, when they did not succeed. The picture also shows, that I finally remembered to put the body hair overlay by Sadieg79 on Ramir. He seems like a hairy guy to me.
Saturday was Omar's birthday.
A handsome teen. He rolled romance for his primary and pleasure for his secondary aspiration.
Like a true romance sim the first thing Omar does next morning, is to make a booty call !?! I did not even know he knew any teen girls (he's straight).
It's Tessa Ramirez! They only have ca 20/20 relationship and one bolt, but apparently that's enough for a horny teen.
A good start for filling his LTW of woohooing with 20 sims, don't you think!? While the teens were rolling in the parents' bed...
... Ramir was reading a story about the fantastic adventures of a toilet seat to Raza.
Once the teens left the bedroom, the parents took over. My luck had run out and there was a lullaby, sigh.
Like a normal, happy couple, the Patels prepare dinner for their normal, happy kids together.
The Patel family the way I left them at the end of their week. With a new family member on the way, they likely have to move out of their apartment during the next round.
