Someone please drug me because I can't take much more of this world behavior. How is it that people continue believing in the governments of the world? Every new form of regulation begged for grants more power to the government. If you believe the old adage, "power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely," then why in the world would you avidly support the centralization of power? Every new regulation you demand, every new law passed does exactly that: INCREASE THE POWER OF GOVERNMENT!
It doesn't matter what form of government you support. It doesn't matter how passionate you are about your political beliefs or the political "leaders" you follow. The end result is always the same. You start with small government and it grows and grows and grows until the corruption is wrapped around you so tightly that you can't breath, and the only escape you have is to become a python yourself or stop playing the game. (Death is not an escape, and neither is complacency!)
In the US alone, people actually believe the people being driven out of their homes actually deserve it. And, on July 4th they will parade how awesome it is to be American. Next day, they will fight for health care for the poor.
Seriously, do the world a favor and stop voting! Because, all you're doing is playing spin the bottle with a gun, Russian roulette style, while those you voted into power sit by and watch the next pawn to fall so his/her assets can be seized as spoils of war. The House always wins. And revolution does nothing except reset the board.
Stop playing the game! You don't know the rules of war. And, if you do not see the war currently in effect, then you are a sacrifical pawn.
I don't care how crazy you think I am for saying all this. In the end, I'm not the one willing to put guns to peoples' heads because they do not act or behave the way I think they should. That is the effect of your political action(s)!
People always want to blame greed, but that is not the beast you face. It is your willingness to accept and justify violence as a necassary evil. There is no such thing as necessary evil.
As long as people believe evil is necessary in order to co-exist, then we will never see peace. There will only be the blind men and women that are unaware of the wickedness and the vampires that feed upon their ignorance.
