So, college is... done, except for graduation.

Now I gotta find a job.

Would anyone care to send well-wishes my way?  I've got about two weeks left of college and I'm feeling a distinct lack of caring about schoolwork, not to mention burnt-out.  There's a twenty page paper I've barely started, a 15 word dictionary project I'm tired of, and three finals. 1. I typed up some fics today.  I've actually been writing a lot, just haven't felt like typing.

2. On Thursdays and Fridays, I help my aunt out by going play with her dogs (two big, rambunctius black labs).  Her yard borders a creepy swamp area and every time I look up, I expect to see Jason Vorhees.  It's very disconcerting.

Yesterday, in my Whitman class, the teacher sent us out to wander campus and jot down some notes about what Whitman might have included in a poem. This is what I finished with, touched up slightly.  All told, it took me about ten mintues, combining the actual writing down yesterday and the polishing today.

So, my college has a quad, right?  It is bordered by buildings, and the entrances to the quad are wide enough that car can drive through.

Today, someone did. He drove his car in, parked, unloaded all sorts of crap, and left the doors and trunk open. Then he put a leash on his dog and walked away.

I could see all this from my classroom.

It's snowing for the third time in two years. It's been snowing for almost two hours. Guess what?  That's right: my school didn't cancel for the day, like, oh, EVERYTHING ELSE in the area.

It's cold and it's snowing and I want to go home.

The semester just started and I have a job, so it might be awhile before I post again.

You know what I want? An icon with the words “beneath the sky of lust” and a Supernatural video to Richard Marx’s “ Children of the Night”. *shrugs*

Yes, I finally got my Poets of the Fall CD. *glee*

I have a new job, at my college’s bookstore. I get 20% off textbooks.
