Sam finds out Ruby has betrayed him

He finds the book on a Thursday, two months after Lilith's hound tore Dean apart and the white-eyed bitch took his brother to Hell. He finds the book and it tells him everything he could possibly ever think to ask about Hell.

He finds the book and he reads it and he clenches his fists tight enough that his bones creak.

"Ruby," he says.

She appears within in minutes, always at his beck and call anymore. He'd thought it was to watch his back since he was alone, when he considered the state of things at all.

Sam glances up at her through his bangs, fingers itching to strangle her. Unfortunately, that would just hurt the body, not her.

"Yeah, Sam?" she asks, all wide-eyed and eager to please.

He can't believe the act worked before. Now that he knows, he sees everything"You lied to me," he says softly, eyes on the page, rereading the words. "You lied to me and let Dean go to Hell

And then kill her.
