Donetsk is one of the main industrial centers in ex-Ukraine with the metropolitan area population of over 2 million people. Throughout the night and day of July 1 Ukrainian army continues to conduct intensive heavy artillery shelling of civilian towns and settlements. In Kramatorsk, Donetsk region Ukrainian army fire hit a minibus with civilians: 4 people died, 5 injured. The militia reports at least 15 civilians dead in Kramatorsk alone today.
