I only ever log in just in time to keep Livejournal from terminating my account, lol.  Not many people use this anymore, but that's ok.

Today I signed my "intent to renew" contract, which means I'm signing up for another year.  I'll be here at least until next April, however I don't how long I'll be staying after that.

So I'm having a difficult time with one of my new classes, and I'm stressing about it b/c I feel like I'm failing them as a teacher.  On the other hand, I only have a week left, and they just sleep in class anyway!  Someone told my boss that I am not friendly.  Go figure.  As my friend Nate would say, "I'm a fucking ray of sunshine."

 I like this week.  This week is looking up.  Today, Chris Fisher from the Morning X Show on 97.1 came to my Listening class to talk.  Maybe I'm gushing, but it was so exciting to have a local celebrity respond to my e-mail.  I suppose a radio personality is more reachable than say, Orlando Bloom, but I am still awe-struck.  It's very comforting to ( Read more... )

hair appointment wednesday
