I wouldn't mind anything in the Ivory universe, I wouldn't mind a continuation of the City of Diamonds story, ... come to think of it anything sf&f would be great, possibly anything you'd write which could be read.
I never was into HOUSE, but then I haven't watched much tv in the last 7 years at all - having transferred that time to the internet, but I'm still an avid reader and your books are cherished treasures over here.

I truly wish there was at least one more Ivory novel. I just finished re-reading for... a number beyond my ability remember Two-Bit Heroes. The last line makes me a little sad every time, when taken in conjunction with reading Guilt-Edged Ivory: "And I thought of all the hints, all the flashing gleams on the river, all the stories we'll never know the endings of." I truly want to know what happens with Theodora and the Cormallons.
Re: your comment on breaking basic structural 'rules', it actually piques my interest in a scene or even the whole storyline - it shows me that the writers care a lot about the material. It makes for compelling storytelling.
That scene, even though long in most everyone's eyes, was brilliant.
Good onya for taking the bull by the horns and following your muse where she's taking you. I will miss your steady hand in the writing of House, but I'll forward to seeing your new ventures.
You write by far my favorite episodes of House, and I will miss your involvement in it terribly, but I do know what you mean about having to do some things for yourself, or go mad
