I started off the day at 8:30 with the course I am TAing. I was introduced as an invaluable resource to them because I have pharmacy experience. I warily agreed.

Then it started raining. I walked through some buildings due to the severe downpour. I had wisely brought an umbrella-ella-ella. Once when I was outside, a burst of downpour came and went within twenty seconds. A girl commented that that was fast, I agreed, and she took that to mean that I desired to be engaged in conversation. She asked if that happened all the time. I said I don't know. She told me she wasn't from around here. Apparently the large Tigerhawk on my umbrella didn't tip her off that I wasn't either. Indeed, the climate in IN is probably not that different than IA.

More rain. I went to my second class at 10:30. Right at switching time, parts of campus lost power, but it was back on fairly soon. Thankfully, class was not given by flashlight. Again, more rain.

Walked the 6 blocks to Bindley in the rain. Met with Dr. Davisson. Thus far, he seems to be the best match in thinking and variety of materials. I will try and do my first rotation with him. Still raining.

Rode the Silver Loop across campus. My first encounter with public transit in this state. It was okay. I wasn't sure where was best to get off. Still raining. Ate my food, cold, in the PMU. Then found a computer lab and computed. Found a message for the meeting I had to reschedule to meet at 2:00. Went to that, but had to cut short to make it to my next class. Didn't leave in enough time and arrived to 2:30 class at 2:32-ish. Raining still.

The 2:30 class involved receiving the syllabus then a nice "Hi there! How do you do? [Please let me ass-rape you," beginning of semester exam to see where we are in Organic. It wasn't really that bad. Then off to a coffee shop with Jared and Chuck in the rain. Indeed I am making friends, and cool ones at that.

Off to the 5:30, this time not in the rain. The 5:30 was painless, although a review for me. I plan to kick everyone's ass in that class. Then off to home. It started really pouring buckets on the drive home and that persisted for an hour or two.
