Another week gone by...
Trying to figure out moving situation....Ben and me were both upset for some reason early in the week, but that atmosphere has seemed to pass. Sushi got hit & killed by a car :( I feel SO bad for Darin and, of course, guilty slightly for ever having her go to mom's house instead of w/ someone who would keep her indoors. Ben's grandma doesn't want him moving into mom's plae, mom offered us if we renovate the garage we can stay there for $25 a MONTH in exchange for us paying the renovation costs & turning it into a mother-in-law apt. It's an option. A small part of me hopes his grandma does the house thing b/c then id have a home w/ Ben & enough space for all our stuff! If not, though, mom's offer is incredible and we'll prolly take it. Classes start in a week & a half. Dr appt yest said im still alive & healthy & she referred me for a sleep study for sleep apnea that wont cost me a thing! Universal healthcare, I dont know about that, but if there were more hospitals & doctors who worked within people's budgets the way the health dept does, that'd be great! Since I'm unemployed & my unemployment check is so small I get free health coverage & they work with me. When I was working I paid about 17% of the cost, and I paid it gladly in exchange for getting good health care at a price I could afford even though I didn't have insurance. I feel bad for ppl who dont take advantage of health depts or know about them or have crappy care at the ones that are available. I love the North Port Health Dept of Sarasota county, they have great health care & great service and now daddy got on the phone & is giving me a recipe for yogurt potato salad so bye bye!
