Saw some really interesting movies over the past few days....
Bridget Jones' Diary - Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant
I can see why it's become so popular - Bridget; her clumsiness, cuteness and ridiculousness; is practically iconic for women everywhere. It doesn't hurt that Colin Firth, one of the most dashing men alive, is in it too. :P
This is probably a really DUMB question, but is it based on Pride and Prejudice?
Down with Love - MORE Renee Zellweger, Ewan MacGregor and Niles from Frasier!
I never knew a film could have that much innuendo shoved in it and still be a "clean" film. Well made and executed - completely ridiculous and satirical, but I think that was the point.
The Notebook - Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams
This... *sighs* WHY has it become so popular? I didn't really like it - it was definitely sweet (ugh) and Rachel looks absolutely gorgeous... but I couldn't empathise with either of the characters, and the story lacked soul, to me. Good as a one-off, but not a classic chick flick. A Walk to Remember, also by Nick Sparks, with Shane West (*guh*) is much better, IMHO.
Can someone reach through the internet and SHOOT me so I don't have to be at school at 6:40 am tomorrow morning for our leadership camp? Will be back Tuesday night with a full (probably rather bitchy) report of proceedings.

Will try and sift through f-list tonight before I go but right now I'm swaying (metaphorically) on my feet - sleepovers really take it out of me, for not actually having done anything at all.
Watched Dr. Who last night (forcibly). LOVED the reference to the Rogue Traders - Here come the drums - "Voodoo Child". Starting to think that the show is not so bad - even if it makes no sense, and is nothing [in terms of the pretty and sheer coolness of gadgets (Metallicar!!)] on Supernatural.
EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot!
