Pool and pick up lines
Laura and I had some good times last night shootin' some pool. It's been a while since I've gone out like that, like probably since I was an undergrad. We're talking years, people! And I have to say the pick up lines have not improved. Here are some of my favorites from last night and what was running through my mind while hearing them:
1. You have really cute feet (keep in mind I just had a pedicure).
2. You know what would be a shame? If we never saw each other again. (oh please)
3. Let's make a bet, if I get the 15 in, you give me your number. (dream on)
4. You're the kind of girl to marry (oh yeah?, where's my ring?)
5. No, you really do have adorable feet. (I heard you the first time buddy, move on or I'm gonna start thinking you have a foot fetish)

Ah so there you have it.....is anyone surprised that I neither gave out my phone number or agreed to any dates? I really just wanted to go hang out with my friend and play some pool, have some drinks. We were conversing back and forth all night when to tell people that we just wanted to play alone. Sorry boys.
So this is my last week of working full-time for the summer, and I'm super excited. I just can't handle the boredom anymore! Working Saturday was a nice change because we had tons of things to do, and I actually felt like I was earning what they were paying me. More exciting news, I am using my grill tonight for the first time! I invited my parents (aww, ain't I sweet?) over for burgers and brats so they are on their way! I'll be sure to eat enough for everyone.
Oh yeah, and I am probably gonna be on the beach in less than a week. Cause after being shot, getting bit by a copperhead, I might as well end the summer off right with a shark attack! Or a hurricane. Whatever.
