Summary : Hiroto and Nao are questioning Saga's plans for his birthday.
Comments : I know it's mean of me for not thinking of making Saga a birthday fic but I just couldn't do that so here's a short oneshot! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS!
“That’s a wrap, guys!”
A shout from the photographer was heard for the entire room to hear. Everyone in the room clapped their hands and the members of Alice Nine bowed in gratitude. They were finally allowed to change and Shou and Tora were the first to go to the changing rooms. The remaining three went to the long couch where their belongings were and sat.
“It’s been a while, ne? It’s good to be to this.” Said Nao as he rummaged his bag.
“Yeah, I hope I was not too stiff back there. It’s been a while since I posed for something.” Saga said as he took his changes of clothes from his bag.
“Speaking of which,” Hiroto started. “Your birthday will be in a few days, Saga. Do you have any plans other than the KKBOX event?” He asked as he reclined against the couch.
“I don’t think so…except drinking out with you guys?” Saga answered with a small laugh.
“Not even plans with Tora?” Hiroto asked again.
Saga went rigid for a while and smiled sadly.
“Yeah, come to think of it, how are you and Tora?” Nao asked this time.
“We’re fine… It’s just that… He’s been busy with DIAWOLF lately and I think he still is…” Saga answered again with a strained laugh.
Nao and Hiroto could tell that Saga and Tora had not been seeing each for a while. It shows from when they came for the photo session, how Saga hugged Tora tightly. It’s true that both Shou and Tora had been busy and Hiroto felt lonely too but thanks to his adventure side, he was able to go on a trip alone but maybe it wasn’t the same for Saga.
“Anyway, I’m not really looking forward to it anyway. I’m old. Why should I get excited anymore?”
Just when Saga said that, Tora had already went back into the room and caught Saga’s last few words.
“Getting excited about what?” He asked.
The three of them looked up at Tora in surprise.
“Nothing.” Saga quickly said.
Tora knew that there was something wrong but he decided to ask later. Saga and Hiroto got up then and went to the changing rooms while Shou went to the photographer to discuss about something. Nao watched as Tora sat beside him.
“Tora, are you free on the 24th? We’re planning to go drinking for Saga’s birthday.” Nao tested.
“It depends on Shou, I guess. If there are no DIAWOLF activities then I guess I’ll come.”
Nao scowled and waved him off. “Wrong answer.”
“What?” Tora was completely lost.
“It’s your lover’s birthday for God’s sake, Tora. You shouldn’t depend on Shou if he has his solo activities or not! Rather than-“
“Okay, I get it.” Tora interrupted, he didn’t want to hear Nao’s fit.
“It’s just that… I don’t know if it’s right to celebrate his birthday with me. I felt that he is so used of my absence now and I know that is my fault. I just feel that I don’t deserve to be with him on his birthday.” Tora confessed and Nao was caught off guard.
“It’s a special day, and he should spend it with his special ones too. Like his family for example… or you.” Tora continued.
Nao frowned. “You can’t just assume things without talking to him, Tora. And I’m not special to him compared to you.”
Just then, Saga came out of the changing room with his casual clothes on. The two stopped talking and Tora smiled at his lover when Saga approached him. Nao got up and went for his turn to change. Saga sat beside his lover and was about to lean his head on Tora’s shoulder but held back as he remembered that they were on a public place. Tora noticed it and took Saga’s hand as he shifted closer in order to cover their hands.
“Saga, do you still love me?”
Tora’s question caught Saga off guard and he looked at his lover bewilderedly.
“Of course, I do… Why did you suddenly ask that?”
Tora smiled sadly. “I don’t know… I’ve been so absent lately… I thought that your feelings for me have lessened…”
Saga pouted. “You’re so mean… I thought you have faith in me.”
“I do-“
“Then don’t think like that. I know it’s been a while since we saw each and we don’t see each other that much also but that doesn’t mean I stopped loving you. If I did, I wouldn’t hug you like I did.”
Tora felt relieved. “You’re right, I’m sorry.”
They smiled at each other and Tora looked around to see if anyone was looking at them. When he found none, he leaned in and kissed Saga’s forehead lovingly. Saga felt warmth all over his body then and squeezed Tora’s hand in return.
“Don’t make plans on your birthday, okay? I’m going to pick you up and spoil you rotten at my place. I’ll spend every minute with you and give you the best birthday ever.” Tora promised with sincerity as he nuzzled his nose with Saga’s.
“I’m looking forward to it.” Saga whispered and leaned in closer to his lover.
Sure thing right at midnight on the 24th, Tora came to his house and picked him up with a box of pizza and beer. On the way to Tora’s place, Saga texted to Nao that there won’t be any drinking party because right when they both arrived at Tora’s place, Saga got what Tora had promised and wouldn’t have want to waste his time drinking with the others when he have right what he needed.

Yay! I finally got the time to write. I miss writing. Life sucks but hopefully I'll be able to be active after two months!
