(no subject)
'Miah visited yesterday. We just hung out, walked over to Ear-X-Tacy (music store), talked about piratical chickens. I can't express, never have been able to, how comfortable and easy it is to just be around him, even when neither of us has anything to say, and even when we both have philosophical and brilliant thoughts pouring out all over the place, too. I really miss hanging out with him on a regular basis.
After he left, we had Edmund over and watched Two Brothers (a tiger movie, but I'll warn you it's pretty damn depressing in parts, though it's overall positive). He brought over candy, too! :) So that was fun. It was a good cap to a fairly lousy day at work...I was glad to have some distractions from how crappy I'd been feeling.
I have to say...mornings are getting to be a very bad time of day for me. Every single day now I wake up and just feel like, "UGGHH, can I please just drop dead now?" I seem to get better as I go through the day, but getting out of that initial funk every day is getting frustrating, difficult, and miserable.
And yeah...I haven't had breakfast yet and I've been up since 7:45 (for no good reason). I'm going to remedy the breakfast situation.
