I am safely home from OVFF. The trip was smooth. I had a good time, though there was noticeably less sleeping involved than I would like. This despite spending a fair bit of time in bed. I have just made it home from GAFilk. Although there weren't any actual problems with the drive, it was still too much driving. Even though we left Thursday afternoon and spent the night in Tennessee, I still arrived at the con pretty drained. Rather than sit at home and feel sorry for myself for New Years, I decided to drive up to Milwaukee for the party at Lytheria. If I'd known what the weather was going to do, I might have stayed home. Safely home from GAFilk. The con was fun and much needed; unfortunately I started out so depressed that I was just coming up to being alive by the time it ended. The drive down was slightly delayed by one interstate-blocking accident on Thursday, but other than that was smooth enough. Coming home was problem free, but I feel rather rung out now.

The fun began with a free Magic event at Armored Gopher.  I had some fun and got some free stuff.  Wasn't lucky, so not that much.  I had to leave early to drive to Mt. Prospect.

I have made it home safely from FKO.  The trip had no major drama.  The con was good.  The music was fantastic.  The concom did a wonderful job.  I wasn't quite as involved as I would like to be, or as pleasant as I would like to be, because I was very tired most of the time.
