OH MY GOD, I have seriously been WAITING for you to post this entry! Ever since you started vaguely twittering/tumbling about your bf! Seriously, I almost texted last night to ask that you post a ridiculously lengthy LJ entry explaining everything that's been going on in your life and I had to stop myself because that seemed like a weird/intrusive/freaky thing to go.

I am so, so happy for you, B! This is fantastic! I hope that you have a great time in Chicago and you MUST see the Neo Futurists (I have been loving their show since I was sixteen years old, which is longer than I have been loving any human significant other) and of course you have to see Susan while you're there! (Well, you don't have to, but I think that would be awesome!)

Anyway, I'm so, so glad and I miss you so, so much! I've been watching tons of Arrested Development lately and it always makes me think of you and Stephanie. I wish that the three of us could hang out and eat giant delicious sandwiches and deserts together with our fabulous significant others!

This is obviously turning into the worst LJ comment ever, so I'm just going to stop myself now. ILU!

Oh Kathee...I miss you! We are for sure seeing The Neo-Futurists, I already talked to Ed about it, so that should be a go. I also wrote on Susan's wall last night to let her know that I'll be in town for pride, so I'm hoping maybe we can all meet up.

Ed also really wants us to go to Cali so that he can meet stephanie and my friend Cole...I already told Stephanie and she already seems to be making grand double-dating plans, even though I have no idea how/when/if this would ever actually be able to happen. I would love to see you again and to maybe actually meet your bf, so that I know he's actually real ;-)

I will definitely be going to Shiree's wedding, and I'm really excited about it! [although I haven't made any hotel arrangements or anything yet, because I was hoping to be able to figure out some way of not having to stay in a room by myself and share the costs]. I told her that I had a boyfriend now and asked if it would be super awkward for me to bring him and she said that would be cool, except that there's a waiting list for "plus ones" and that my bf is next in line after your bf haha. So we shall see.

Either way, I would definitely like to make a trip down to Ohio with him sometime and hopefully we can work something out where maybe we could all meet up somewhere...I would love to see you and laura and karen again especially.

You've figured out my elaborate ruse! My boyfriend is, in fact, a fake -- constructed from discarded t-shirts and leftover indie cred.

I haven't made hotel arrangements for Shiree's wedding yet, either. I might actually be driving back to Cleveland instead of staying the night. I really hope that my +1 doesn't get in the way of your +1 being able to attend, especially since my +1 can be kind of a wet blanket when it comes to social gatherings.

It would be so great if all of us would be able to get together sometime. I wish we weren't all so far apart. I've barely seen anyone from Miami since I left in March and I feel awful about it, but the truth is I'm just terribly, terribly lazy. Someone needs to get on inventing a teleporter so that we can all chill in a timely fashion without the hassle of long-distance travel.
