I haz werking car naow!

Seems that when Hubby and I changed the bulb after it blew, it got somehow twisted putting the new bulb into place, and when the cover went on it knocked an exposed wire agaisnt the body of the car, thereby shorting out the fuse. So they replaced the new bulb (which had promptly blown again) and the fuse and put the car back together. They had to take the bumper off and everything.

And I got very cold tramping up and down Staple Hill High Street. That place is an wind tunnel.

I just can't believe that I got up early AND had the honour of paying out £60 that I don't have...
