Thursday? Really?

Yesterday I dashed to a fabric shop I had heard about in Kingswood. I am never going there on a Saturday, because the parking is atrocious, but I digress. Took along my pattern for my new WFLARP outfit, and worked with the lady in the shop to get the right amount of everything. I am very pleased with the purchases - they came out quite cheap, and the fabric is perfect!

When I got home I started to cut out the pattern on the kitchen floor (why do they have to make the sheets of tissue paper so huge?) while Hubby once more had a go at the last song on Rock Band on Expert (no, he didn't nail it this time, but he is getting closer). Ironed the pattern and the fabric, and tonight I'll actually pin it to the fabric and cut it out and start sewing it. There is no way I'll get it finished for this Saturday, but I should have it done for August. Oh sh*t - I forgot to find my interfacing stash. I wonder where that got to, and whether I'll have enough...

I hate the multi-size patterns. I never fit them! I'm kind of halfway between two sizes, so I cut to the smaller one, because they always leave an inch of seam allowance and that is WAY too much in a garment.

This morning I am having trouble equating the fact that I am upright and at work, and therefore I must be awake. I certainly don't feel it.
