Ahead of the clock
I'm about 28% through my initial sweep through the translation, but only 20% through the contract period. If I keep up my current pace, I'll be close to 45% done by the time my contract is 25% up. This is better news than I thought! If I can be 70-75% done by the time I reach Berlin in October, then I should have ample time to finish the job, translate the poetry well, proofread in detail, and turn in a nice finished copy with cross-checked references in January! w00t!
