Course-palooza!

Alright, I have my courses picked.

Three geology classes + research units:

GES 130: Soil Physics and Hydrology, 3 units
GES 171: Geochemical Thermodynamics, 3 units
GES 212: Topics in Tectonic Geomorphology, 2 units
GES 192: Undergraduate Research in GES, 3 units

Two German classes and a Haus class:

GERLIT 128: Goethe: Poetic Vision in the Age of Reason, 4 units
GERLIT 163: Outcasts, Outlaws, Outsiders: Readings in 19th-Century Literature, 4 units
GERLANG 20K: Küche Mitt, German Cooking Class, 1 unit

And the activities - I'm doing all three, but can only get an unit for one:

ATHLETIC 142: Tennis, Low Intermediate
MUSIC 72A: Intermediate Piano
MUSIC 160: University Orchestra

This puts me at 21 units for the quarter, the absolute maximum. I just discovered that if I want to, I can take 20 units next quarter, thereof at least 1 unit of German, and then go to Berlin in the spring and take 20 units, all towards the German major, thereby fulfilling all the requirements for graduation with a BA in German Studies. I wouldn't have time to finish my BS in geology if I did that, and am therefore obviously not going to do it, but it's nice to know that after this year, I will essentially have completed a BA. Crazies.
